Can I send Pressed Flower Greeting Cards in the mail? top
I have sent all my cards in the mail but, I add extra thick paper to cover the rose, lavender or any thick flower because rollers can damage stems during postal processing. To be sure of a safe delivery mail cards in a bubble mailer.
Thinner flowers, such as pansies or hydrangeas do just fine, because they are flat and coated with an acrylic sealer. This makes flowers more flexible and able to handle the bending when being processed at the post office. You can also ask to have your cards hand canceled, but this will cost a few cents extra.
Is extra postage required when mailing? top
Extra postage may be required due to the thickness of the rose or if there is a bow tied on your card. Ask your postal clerk if extra postage is necessary.
Where does the gold seal with my card go? top
Gold seals can be placed on the back of the envelope flap for a nice presentation.
What is the tissue with my card for? top
